I woke up this morning with a weird burning pain in my back - i cant really pinpoint where it is it feels maybe the middle where you waist is but its really hard to say that whole part of my body just aches. I have never had back pain before and this is totally throwing me!

It doesnt seem to hurt when i move just generally all the time. Paracetamol didnt really seem to change much.

Its not severe enough that i feel i need to see gp or anything it more just like a constant minor ache so im not massively worried more annoyed at my body.

What is this? Has anyone had this ? I am supposed to be doing various activities with the kids today and i am a little bit worried it will make it worse!

I’ve had something similar… found it difficult to put shoes/socks on and when I sat it felt like a pulling pain. I stretched into it and it seemed to get better over a few weeks. Needed to rest on my back on the floor quite a few times initially. Not sure what it was exactly but disappeared as mysteriously as it came!

It can be an early sign of covid - I’d be on the lookout for any other symptoms and prepare to isolate if I were you! Mine started with back pain and a weird wrist pain, then a similar ache at the front under my boobs as if I’d been doing sit ups. LFTs were still negative at this point. Then all the usual symptoms followed in a couple of days before getting a positive PCR. LFT remained negative though, so you’ll need a PCR to confirm.
