Who has been to see Strictly Live this year?

I went last week and I couldn’t believe how tall Johannes is! The TV show doesn’t do him justice. I found him absolutely mesmerising, I just couldn’t take my eyes off him for the duration of the show.

It was really nice to see Maisie there and it reminded me what a phenomenal dancer she is.

And the group dances (except the Titanic one) were just amazing!!

What did everyone else think??

Hi @DontWantTheRivalry, we're just bumping this thread for you. We're sure there must be a few other Strictly fans lurking... Smile Glitterball

I have, absolutely loved it all, it was my 4th time. I'm a big Nikita fan so obviously it was my first time seeing him.

I took the dc who loved it. I thought it was quite pantomime like, but overall good fun.

Went with DD on Sunday. We loved it. Yes, it's basically panto- but the whole show was so joyous and uplifting.
Loved seeing the couples - Maisie and Kai were an amazing pair. Great to see Shirley dancing at the end. And Nadiya's legs! Shock Envy

I was quite disappointed by the Panto element. I thought they would all just come on and dance - not have all this scripted scoring and judging going on. The Panto element of it ruined it a little bit for me - I felt it was a patronising way to go about it.

It was the first one I went to and I don’t think I would go to another one. I was expecting more dancing from the couples and perhaps some dances that we hadn’t seen before but sadly not.

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed it but the Panto approach took away a lot of the shine.

I think that's a lot for the kids really well I assume so.
I'll probably still go next year again, I can't stop now!
