Hi all, I am pretty new to posting so hopefully I put as much info on to see if this has happened to anyone else. My husband and I have recently had our second and last embryo transfer go that has been frozen and we were excited to see the positive lines after the2 week wait but unfortunately this then lead to a chemical pregnancy. I had a 1 - 2 week positive on the Thursday (after test date) but then the following day I started to bleed but not heavy. This continued over the course of the week and a few clots came away. The hospital asked me to keep testing which I did and then I did my final test last Wednesday 9th which was negative not even the faintess of lines, so was told not to take the progesterone tablets anymore so I stopped these on the Tuesday night. Then on Saturday I started to get really bad pains around my ovaries, some quite sharp along with headaches so I thought to do an ovulation test, just out of curiosity, and it came up positive which is bizarre, Anyway, I am still getting these pains, headaches and feeling bloated and occasional backache. I spoke to the nurse at the ivf clinic and she was told by the doctor to ask me to do a pregnancy test again just in case, which I have done but its negative. I have also done an ovulation test strip again and its come up slightly lighter than it did on Saturday, so I am not sure what is going on, as it seems strange that I could have possibly ovulated 2 days after me having a very early miscarriage. My cycle is usually anything from 33-35 days and I ovulate around day 20. If I go from when i started bleeding this time round (CP), Saturday would have meant I ovulated around day 14, which in my world never happens. I can't see that I could be pregnant still and when speaking to the clinic I was kinda of hoping they have had similar questions asked by other women, but it didn't appear so, so I feel like I am a bit of a strange one. I have no pregnancy symptoms except these horrible headaches that come and go but wasn't sure if they are from stopping the progesterone (cycolgest). So my question is, has anyone been through this that may have found out what was happening? Did you ovulate straight after? As mentioned above, I was hoping the hospital was able to give me some indication but I have just been asked to call them up to tell them if my Pregnancy test result!! Thanks for any help :)
