What is this piece of classical music?

I'm not at all musical so apologies for the terrible description.

It's quite jaunty and makes me think of someone riding a horse, quite elegantly. I think it might be from the Baroque period(but perhaps not). I often hear it used in TV Shows.

I know that's so little to go on.

Apologies but TIA

Thanks all. It isn't any of these but I'm enjoying listening to them anyway.

I'd say that it was more trotting pace than galloping.

Beethoven's ?

I heard Carnival Of The Animals played live a few weeks ago (never heard the full thing before) and the finale struck me as a bit horsey at the time.

Try this from about 15 seconds:

Light cavalry overture?

Moonface123 · 14/02/2022 13:55

Alot more modern but Hans Zimmer, Now we are free, is a beautiful piece of music used in many films with horses running wild and free, also on Youtube., well worth a watch.

Chamomile · 14/02/2022 13:56

Should have added that the horsey bit doesn’t start till around 2.27

Wachet Auf by Bach. It was the theme tune for the Lloyds Bank ads for a while with the horse galloping along a beach.

IcedCokeFloat · 14/02/2022 14:21

I finally found a clip of it. I remembered one of the programmes where I heard it.

It starts here about 02:18
