Hello, I would like to ask opinions between these two schools (for both of which my DD got a place) if do you have any first hand experience.
In particular regarding the pressure and the amount of homework. How many hours are children expected to do homework every day? What happens if a child does not cope with the pressure or does not get top grades? Does the school ask them to leave and find another school?
Any experience with finacial support if you after 2-3 years can not afford the fees?
Thanks in advance

The Admissions page on St Helen's states that a hardship fund is available to support pupils to the next stage of their education. But even then it probably won't cover 100% of the fees. If you manage to scrape together fees for Yr 7 and think you might find yourself unable to pay fees for Yr 8/9, then don't do it. Remember that fees increase every year and if you're worried about paying fees over the next couple of years, then not only will it put a huge strain on the family finances but will be very unsettling for your dd when she has to change to a state school in Yr 9.
