Is Wink Murder still a thing?

This was one of my favourite games in Primary School, and my 6 year old has a birthday coming up...is this game still played, or would people kick up a stink about it being a 'murder/killing' game?

I used to dread this at Brownies as I couldn't wink. Ours was picked by a tap on the shoulder, if I was picked I'd be there furiously blinking
