Things you really should know, but don't

There are things that when people talk about them I pretend to know what they are talking about as I really should know, but it's not quite important enough for me to ask, and I'd be embarrassed to admit my ignorance.

For starters, people talk about 'the home counties'. I have no idea really which counties they refer to 😉

I'm as clueless as a prime minister on that.

I'm not watertight on the Home counties but suspect it's ones that "touch" Greater London.

Terrible at Geography, me. Don’t know what milk or bead cost either.

The price of a first class stamp. In my head, its still around 30p, but I know that's waaaay put of date.

I bought a book of stamps at Christmas. The cost was staggering however I had too much going on to actually take the time to process the price per stamp!

I also hate trying to convert currency on holiday , I think I get it , until I go into a shop lol
