Tommee tippee perfect prep yay or nay?

I'm debating getting a Tommy tippee perfect prep. Our little one is currently on 90ml 8 times a day of formula.

I've heard great things about it but also some things about them not being accurate and hard to clean etc

So yay or nay?

I loved ours with DS. Just make sure you run the cleaning cycle as directed and change the filters regularly. The least it makes is 4oz though so I'd wait until your DC is taking that much or you're wasting an oz every time

Never felt the need for one and coped fine without one

FoamBurst · 13/02/2022 13:34

Yes providing its maintained properly its fine.
I neve rhad one with eldest and didn't plan to with 2nd. But someone showed me it. And it's a game changer!
Also used it for 3rd.

I love ours. It's so convenient.

MrsTophamHat · 13/02/2022 13:51

I had one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I loved them.

Newrunner29 · 13/02/2022 13:53

Used them for both my girls , 2nd child used from birth and no problems, saved so much time

NameChangeCity123 · 13/02/2022 13:54

Absolute god send for night feeds

Newrunner29 · 13/02/2022 13:54

Not day 1 but I think at about week 1 or 2

ImTheOnlyUpsyOne · 13/02/2022 13:55

100% yay

Lockdownmummy · 13/02/2022 13:58

I got put off by some of the mouldy photos online! I'm sure they are perfectly fine if you clean them properly and it was just FTM nervousness.

I do love my formula kettle though and has been brilliant for DS and DD

Same - it was great
jupitermars1345 · 13/02/2022 14:51

Yay
Love ours

OhNoWhatYouGonnaDo · 13/02/2022 15:16

Loved ours and would recommend it to anyone. I stopped breastfeeding due to health issues and it was a godsend having such an easy way to make bottles.

20viona · 13/02/2022 15:21

Brilliant can't wait to use it again for new baby.

Simonjt · 13/02/2022 15:37

We have one and a babybrezza and we love them both, we stupidly haven’t bought either on our trip away, making bottles without them is a huge pain, especially at night.

ScrumptiousBears · 13/02/2022 15:45

Got one when I have second DD. Gutted I didn't get it the first time round. It's a yes from me.

AliceMcK · 13/02/2022 16:07

Yes. I didn’t have one with my first 2, total god send and made life easier with number 3.

As others have said, make sure you clean and maintain it properly though.

Kinko · 13/02/2022 16:08

Absolute must have in this house!

yaboreme · 13/02/2022 16:09

A must, only downside was that during the night the light is really bright and it's also really loud!

Aworldofmyown · 13/02/2022 16:09

YES! It wasn't out for my first two, and I absolutely managed fine. I got one for my third, and it's definitely the best, most useful baby gadget.

girlmom21 · 13/02/2022 16:20

There's a black one that doesn't do this because it's created for nighttime's - I think it's about £30 more
snowone · 13/02/2022 16:45

God send. Don't forget to take it upstairs at bedtime!! 😀😀

RandomDent · 13/02/2022 16:50

I just used ready made. I don’t think I ever bought a tub of powder.
