I HATE filling in application forms

Please, give me a kick up the backside.
I'm not thrilled with my new boss, and have seen a job (internally) I'm interested in, fairy sure I'm capable of, but have no direct experience of.
As of Friday lunchtime, they had no applications, closing date Tuesday, so I went to chat to the manager of the vacancy.
They said it would be tough going from a 0 knowledge but transferable skills start, but there was support available. They would hope to have applications over the weekend.

Do I apply - and have to tell my boss of 4 months I'm applying for a second role since he started..... or do I stick where I am currently?
It's a 6k payrise (which is about 20%).

You say you need a kick up the backside so you obviously know you want to apply! Just believe in yourself and go for it! Good luck 👍

OP you should 100% apply - you have nothing to lose!

And nobody likes filling in applications, but it's worth it when you've got a goal in mind.

Yes, go for it. If you get it, you can always turn it down if you change your mind.
