Where can I get good wine in half bottles

I love like a glass of wine or two at the weekend but since DH died I'm often drinking alone. I end up either drinking far too much or pouring good wine down the sink.

I don't know much about wine, but I know I like nice wine. Dh and I used to order mixed cases from Laithwaites, which always seemed reliable. Is there anywhere that does similar for half bottles? Lots of places seem only to sell "cheap" wines in halves, but at expensive prices.

Not quite half bottles, but Laithwaites have quite a decent selection of small bottles.

Can you keep it in the fridge for a few days? Cook with it? Sorry it isn't answering your question though

I buy the 250ml bottles from M&S - a large glass per bottle and they have a really wide range. I find half bottles in proper glass bottles are really pricey compared to a full bottle.

Yapps have some decent reds in half bottles… I’ve not looked at whites or sparkling but generally they have a decent range.
