It's the share token link so it should work.

I assume you're making a dig at the concept of a Times subscription but I also know there are many ways a person can view a Times article without having a subscription themselves. Such as someone on a forum sharing it perhaps.

It's not tone deaf if it's relevant to their readership. The Times has a lot of readers for whom this will be relevant.

I can see it just fine with no subscription.

I read the article in an actual hard copy and it reminded me why I don't fit their demographic (couldn't even do the bloomin' crossword fhs).
