Morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just enjoying my first cup of tea of the day. It's the first day of half term here & no-one else is up yet; it's lovely and quiet. Perfect way to start the day.

We're off for a wander round town later this morning. I have a small list of things to buy & the girls want to have a look on the fruit stalls on the market for something new to try.

We'll probably end up in Primark, the random shit shop (sells all sorts of stuff you never knew you needed!) and I want to nip in the yarn shop too.

Curry for tea, I think. And then hopefully I'll pick up a new crochet project. I might leave it tonight though -my thumb's sore & I don't want to make it worse.

Currently freezing my arse off watching my son's football training. This afternoon I'm taking the DC to a free local concert and the rest of the day will be spent clearing the bedrooms ready for decorating.

Absolutely no idea! Hopefully I’ll get some inspiration from this thread.

Drove DD to theatre club and she wants to get a bubble tea after. DS and I are waiting in the cafe for her. Then popping to Sainsburys to get pizza bases so we can make our own toppings. Friends coming round to play later. DH is away with work for a few days

Lazy morning, take the kids the park, then my mum is coming round for a bit. Then maybe a Mcdonalds tea for them if they're still asking for it and a takeaway and wine later on for me and DH.

Tomorrow its going to piddle down all day so we are staying in, making pancakes and watching films.

Quiet morning pottering around with the kids as DH has some work to do. He should be done by lunchtime and then we're heading to brother in law 2's house with brother in law 1 and parents in law to have some lunch and spend some time together. Then taking the children swimming in the afternoon, 3 year old has been asking all week to go! Then we'll take them to burger king for tea as a post swimming treat and home for bed.

I love a weekend with lots of plans, the kids (3 & 2) are much easier to handle when we keep them busy

Have Covid, feeling better today but still need to rest. So will watch some TV, read some books and do some cross stitch. Have a Gousto box arriving with a selection of their 10 minute meals so we can have quick but tasty meals :)

DH is just coming back from a walk and then is taking DS swimming. So glad the whole household doesn't have to isolate anymore! Very hopeful they won't get it as they had it in December (when I avoided it).

Current packing the Dc bags for a sleepover at the in laws. Will be making a small breakfast for DH and I. Relaxing during the rest of the day. Later will be getting ready for tonight, DH and I are off to cinema to watch Uncharted (can’t wait always loved the game) then we’re off for a nice meal after just the two of us.

I'm self isolating till at least Mon and getting quite used to not going anywhere. I've done a 20 min YouTube workout and just had some porridge. Dd1 and OH going out later so me and Dd2 will keep each other company all day with TV, computer games, maybe some baking and I need to sort out my roots! I thought I'd hate isolating but when you've got no choice it's actually quite nice to not rush around

Still in bed. DD has gone to her dads until Tuesday. DH is doing some work outside, and I suppose I'd better get up soon and feed the menagerie. Absolutely no plans for today whatsoever which is so rare. I plan on being exceptionally lazy. Going away for the night tomorrow but until then I plan to do nothing but read and eat!

My third load of washing is on (two loads blowing on the line since 9am).
Just having a coffee and chocolate brioche before doing some housework.
DH is at work, DD is asleep as not working today.

I’m doing bacon rolls at 1pm and then making lots of cakes/scones this afternoon as it’s our turn to host the Church youth group (12-16 age group) for tea tomorrow afternoon (4pm) and they are running the whole evening service. I’ll pop out tomorrow for some fresh bread for sandwiches and make sausage rolls too. Strangely their favourite thing is when I plonk a plate of hot crumpets on the table too.

I’ve got a bolognaise in the slow cooker for tonight. We’ll watch something on the Disney channel tonight, we’re going through the classic old ones at present.

Viewing a house that seems perfect but the market is mad , trying to be optimistic!

Dogs have allready been walked and baby is currently asleep! Hope today is a good day!

Sitting in the car atm waiting for DC3 to get his hair cut, then we’ll head to the shops. Taking ChenPup out for a walk this afternoon, doing some housework and out with DH tonight for dinner.

Weekend away in Devon with DS and DH. Bliss!

Got up with the dogs at 6, they had a run round the garden while the coffee perked. It was pitch black and freezing, blustery too. They ran straight back into their bed and I took my coffee to mine! Which was still warm because hot water bottle. Stayed there til half 9, DC still asleep.

Got up again, fed dogs, had more coffee. I'm currently scrolling MN bundled up on the sofa in a blanket because it's bloody cold!

I'll think about moving in a bit, wake the DC with some bacon sarnies and then head off to the shops this afternoon.

We're off to my mum's this evening, she's treating us to Chinese, and we'll watch the final of the Masked Singer with her.

Really looking forward to today!

Just been changing beds etc, had a nice bath and finished my book.

This afternoon DH taking children to the park hopefully before it rains and I'm off to a friend's house for afternoon tea / early dinner. Really really looking forward to it there's a few of us going.

I need to make something to take with me actually. Debating apple crumble. Or sausage rolls. Or both! Got a glut of apples in the freezer as a friend has an orchard so probably crumble.

Currently sitting (slouched) on the couch trying to peek over my 36 week pregnant belly at my iPad whilst drinking a cappuccino.

DH cleaned the house top to bottom this morning and hung a washing up to dry. He's now in the shower.

DS (20 months) is sitting in his cot having some quiet time (he's been there a good 25 mins so far 👌).

Heading round to my parents house in an hour or so to do a quick hoover, water the plants/feed the fish, etc. as they're on holiday at the moment. Will probably grab something for lunch on the way and have it round there.

Other than that, no plans for the rest of the day. I'm not very mobile at the moment and have limited energy so DH will probably get the finger paints out with DS later this afternoon whilst I once again slump on the sofa and fill my face with tea and biscuits 🙈

Ds1 and ds2 not long back from exdh and football. Ds1 just left to spend night at his pals. Ds2 playing ps4. Dd stayed at friends. Im having first coffee and contemplating going to primark for a mooch.
will watch rugby, have a shopping due to be delivered. Tonight will drink gin, get a takeaway and watch the new Ghostbusters with ds1.

White knuckling it til bedtime! Saturdays are a busy day for me but today is particularly bad...

My high-needs child has been off school a few days this week so I'm utterly exhausted. Worn out worrying about DC2s health and his school issues, it's DC1s birthday next week, hospital with DC2 as well, want a divorce, husband not accepting it, trying to shield DC1 from the brunt of it (DC2 wouldn't have the understanding). Got up with DC at 6:30 this morning, which is earlier than on a school day. Have been eating a bit too much chocolate lately to help me cope and I have to rein that in too!

A day in for us today.

DH hasn't gone to synagogue as usual, and he's annoying me a teeeeeeny bit by being at home

However, we're about to have a lunch of last night's leftovers while baby DD naps. Then later DH will take DD for a walk while I read.

This week at work was super stressful and next week is shaping up to be even worse so I'm doing nothing this week but relaxing and trying not to think about work!

Had a bath after walking the dog this morning then put on clean pyjamas and currently mnetting with a coffee. Going to do some baking in a bit, maybe some crochet or reading in front of the fire. Venison burgers and lots of wine for dinner :)

Walked the dog and put some washing on plus a quick Asda visit. DS1and2 are up and about now. Relaxing with a cuppa then some baking with some over ripe bananas and home made kebabs for dinner. DH watching some programme about ufos which I’m getting drawn into. Need to get a move off this couch though. Some wine and TV later.

Just finished the shopping. It's awful out there! Wet, cold, windy.

Considering making a trifle for tomorrow. DC with dad on Monday so I thought I'd do a little frilly valentines dinner for us tomorrow, just for fun.
