When do I worry about symptoms after a gas leak?

I'll try and keep this brief :)
I have quite a tight and painful chest with severe cough that started yesterday.
I could smell gas all yesterday but my sister and her girlfriend and my partner and his dad couldn't smell anything so I thought it was me, my breathing got steadily worse and I started shaking, I ended up going to a and e I thought someone was wrong with me where my oxygen levels were a little low but nothing to be too concerned about.
Today I've smelt gas all day so about 3 hours ago I called the gas board to put my mind and ease and we did have a leak, quite a big one but my breathing is really painful and there's so much chesty coughing. I had covid 3 weeks ago and didn't cough like this(still testing negative on LFT) so I think it's to do with the gas leak which is now fixed but how long can I expect this for? I've had a reliever inhaler but it's not helped massively and now I feel like I can feel my heart quite hard(I know that doesn't make much sense but I can't think of how else to explain it)

I'd give 111 a call and see what they say. You don't want to take any chances with gas.
