Richmond Hill Hotel or Richmond Harbour Hotel

I'm attending a wedding at Richmond Hill Hotel this summer and need to book a room to stay overnight. Richmond Harbour Hotel is right next door, is a bit cheaper and has a swimming pool. But most of the guests will be in the hill hotel, so good for chat over breakfast the next day plus it's often nice to just nip upstairs to use your own bathroom to freshen up.

Does anyone have a good knowledge of either?

If that was me I'd book the one next door - there's plenty of time to chat the day before at the wedding itself so I'd be glad to get away to my own space at a time of my choosing. Everyone will be hungover at breakfast and will have run out of conversation, so I'd be glad of the excuse to avoid it.

p.s. Do have a walk in richmond park while you're there.

Richmond Harbour every day of the week!! The hotel has had an extensive refurbishment following a significant fire in April 2019; the group have fabulous hotels and we’d stay in any of their brand if in the area.

I stayed overnight at the Harbour Hotel in March 2020 for a work away day. It was great, a little bit quirky but in a good way. I didn't hear any complaints from the group I was with either. We all laughed about how high the beds were though. I would totally recommend it.
