What was yesterdays wordle?

I was halfway through and struggling, very few letters left but couldn't see how they'd fit with the ones I'd got, took a break then fell asleep. I need to know what it was?!?

Yes so you can share your attempts without spoiling the answer. Have you never tried to share yours even out of curiosity to see if that's what it was?

Wordle and Nerdle are now part of my morning routine. If I had unlimited goes I wouldn’t do much else during the day!

But how do you see what the word is if it's all blank squares?Confused

It's not supposed to show the word - it's so you can share how many tries you took and how many correct letters along the way without being a spoiler, that's it's exact point.

Pause really stumped me, I couldn't guess it at all. I had to work out what it was by using other words to figure out the correct positions for all the letters. Tbf wordle is my night feed activity so I'm not at my best when I'm attempting it!

What you’re doing when you share, is showing how you did. If you got it in two goes, for example. It’s not supposed to share the answer. That would be like reading the same book as someone, but revealing ‘whodunnit’ before they’d finished! Each Wordle is available for 24hours before it changes.

I must be doing something wrong!

My word yesterday wasn't pause - it was fists. Day before everyone was talking about being thrown by American spelling and I had goofy.

Is there more than one wordle?

My son has hijacked both nerdle and globle on my phone. Probably more useful home-learning than anything we managed to get him to do in lockdown.
At least he’s lost interest in wordle, so I get to play that again.

I think you may be playing the wrong Wordle. I had the same confusion! The app is an entirely different game. Try Word Guess, which is exactly the same as Wordle but with unlimited goes.

Has the url changed today because of the NYT taking over?
I played earlier but when I go back to

It redirects to NYT url and my words from today have gone.

I got that one in 2, my first 2. Lucked out on my first guess.

Normally a 4 or 5 girl. Today's took me 6, brain was just flummoxed by the letters I had.

Just tried the nytimes url and out in the word I'd guessed already (in 6 goes) as first guess.
Now I have a got it in1 in my stats, which is a bit of a cheat 😁

It does keep the rest of my stats

Theres a wordle unlimited which you can play all day. It's probably nothing to do it with the original but I've had no problems with it.

I got pause in 2! My starter word was rouse so was an easy guess really.
