I've been breast feeding for nearly two years, can I use bath salts? It says no on the pack but surellllly one bath won't hurt?

I’ve never heard about not using bath salts when breastfeeding. I had Epsom salt baths loads after I’d given birth to my dd and was perfectly fine.

Looks like the potential risk is absorbing too much magnesium. As long as you don't overdo it, I can't see that being a problem.

Just to add, in reality I imagine you would have to use masses for this to even be a potential issue!

There are some essential oils your supposed to avoid (peppermint) as it may decrease supply but after 2 years your supply is definitely well established! I would use them.

Lol. Had no idea about this and have the occasional salt bath. I don’t think it can really do that much harm if it’s occasional use!

I think if you're worried, my understanding is that as long as you don't submerge your breasts too much it should be ok.
