7 year old girl birthday present

No idea what to get her

It’s for ds’s classmate birthday party

Budget is £10 and unfortunately, it has to be from Amazon.

So any ideas?

I have a nearly 9 year old girl so you would think I would have an idea but I’m honestly stumped.

The party is on Sunday

You can filter by age group and budget on Amazon, can't you? I'd just get some lego, or some nice colouring pens / little art set.

Soubriquet · 09/02/2022 19:25

Can you? I tried typing that in the search for it and didn’t get much idea but I didn’t know you could specifically filter it like that. Thanks. I

Make you own bath bomb kits or make your own soap kits always go down well with my DD’s friends - lots of them on Amazon!

FionnulaTheCooler · 09/02/2022 19:31

LOL dolls and squishmallows are popular with that age group. Or anything Encanto related at the moment.

OhThatChicken · 09/02/2022 19:32

Our go to is the Exploding Kittens game. RRP is £20 but it's always reduced to £10. It's a fun game and seems to be considered 'grown up'.

Soubriquet · 09/02/2022 19:33

Lol seems to be above £10 now. When did they get that expensive?!

Squishmellow are an idea. Thanks I’ll check those out.

I did see some poopsie surprise bath bombs but I’m not sure if a 7 year old would appreciate that?

DD is nearly 7. Loves squishmallows, playdoh, jewellery making kits, slime, lol dolls, kindikidz, dress up outfits like Disney princesses, colouring sets, painting sets.

Disco light? My dd loves hers.

Soubriquet · 09/02/2022 19:43

I think I’ll message her mum and make sure she likes squishmellows. Should be an ok option I think

Thank you

One of those scratch art kits?
Scented pencils
Glitter tattoos

collieresponder88 · 09/02/2022 19:47

My girls loved a thing called junior sequin art at that age it kept them busy for ages

HeyMicky · 09/02/2022 20:06

I just bought DD's friend a grow your own cactus kit and a ballon animal kit from Amazon. Both very well received

BritInAus · 09/02/2022 21:20

squishmallows / beanie boos / small lego friends set / barbie / handbag (my daughter gave her friend a 'pop it' handbag recently - BIT HIT!)

converseandjeans · 09/02/2022 21:24

£10 in a card or £10 amazon voucher with some sweets then she can go shopping & choose.

MarineBlue33 · 09/02/2022 21:52

A flower press is available at that price from Amazon - a lovely different present

Also slime kits!

MrsLJ2014 · 09/02/2022 23:17

A book called My awesome year being 7.
It is to be filled in throughout the year.
Amazon £7.99

badlydrawnbear · 09/02/2022 23:52

My 7 year old loves Exploding Kittens game mentioned above, any kinds of arts and crafts and stationery, squishmallows, fidget toys. Strangely, she doesn't like Lego, she got lots for Christmas and is getting her older sister to make it for her. For her birthday her friends gave her stuff like stationery sets (pens, pencils, ruler, rubber, pencil case in a set), gel pens, scratch art, paint a unicorn set, decorate a bag set, cuddly toys.

I’ve dropped myself in it haven’t I? I asked ds today to ask girl if she likes squishmellow. Both dc asked what they were (shocker! I thought they would know from school) n

Now both dc want squishmellows Grin

Luckily it’s both of their birthdays next month

Ok now I’m torn.

I can’t decide between fuzzikins and squishmellow. The fuzzikins look like more fun because you can colour in the house, and the little toy, wash the toy off and then colour it in again, so I’m leaning towards that.

However, if ds remembers to talk to girl, (unlikely) she might be expecting a squishmellow now. I guess I’ll see what ds says when he gets home
