Im post memo and have a very fussy Foo Foo. ! I can’t seem to find plain cotton undies that don’t contain elastane. They all seem to contain 5% elastane and I’m wondering if that is in the waistband only? Or is it blended? I’m at my wits end. Even the cotton rich ones from Marks are not 💯 Any advice most welcome 🙏

These come in lots of different styles and are cotton. They are very comfy too. www.next.co.uk/style/st174329/323660#323660

The elastane is the waistband and they were non irritating even when I was having pelvic radiotherapy.

I think the gusset is normally 100% cotton and the elastane is to give that stretch.

M&S for instance describe theirs as

95% cotton, 5% elastane lycra® (exclusive of trimmings), Gusset (of underwear) - 100% cotton

Might just have to try them if you managed throughout your surgery!

So that means it’s in the actual ‘cotton’ as a blend? Only the gusset is pure cotton?

Cotton doesn't stretch which is why they need the elastane so yeah, I'd say it is a blend.
