Last child into secondary school

So I'm really struggling with this transition for my youngest and all her new freedoms. Things like waiting for her to get home after school, trips out with new friends and sleepovers are really sending me over the edge. It's like I see threats everywhere.

She's had a tricky time this school year due to dyslexia that we've only really just picked up. Which has been really hard for her (and me seeing her upset and struggling). But the school is putting things in place and I can sense her settling down.

However I am on red alert as if she was playing on a train track every day!! On top of feeling horrible - the anxiety is fierce- I feel really ashamed about this and the impact it's having on me.

Anyone had this? I'm wondering if this has been ramped up by the pandemic too.
