Wow. Was there any follow up? Do we know if "I have a verbal agreement" eventually moved her car?

CovidCorvid · 06/02/2022 08:24

That’s surely got to be a set up?

mumberry84 · 06/02/2022 08:27

Account says part 2 up later today, I hope it's not a set up it's amazing Grin

GeneLovesJezebel · 06/02/2022 08:30

Where’s the diagram 🤣🤣🤣

EmmaGrundyForPM · 06/02/2022 08:31

Surely this can't be for real?

bumblefeline · 06/02/2022 09:09

Blimey what a ridiculous woman. No wonder Bill and Jenny moved out.

Even it is made up still want to see part 2.

MandyCarter · 06/02/2022 09:14

OMG 🤣

CottonSock · 06/02/2022 09:15

Set up surely. But want to see part 2

LookItsMeAgain · 06/02/2022 09:21

@bumblefeline - I'd say Bill & Jenny had enough of her parking and maybe Jenny said if Bill carries on letting her park on their driveway, (though it could have been the other way around), that they were moving so they did!

She's away with the fairies.

What does having teenagers have anything to do with where she parks her car???

girlmom21 · 06/02/2022 09:22

It's a blatant set up

Sparklingbrook · 06/02/2022 09:29

I am a bit suspicious, especially with the dangling carrot of Part 2, but if it is for real then I'm a bit lost for words.

Sparklesocks · 06/02/2022 11:42

I truly hope it it set up and nobody is that stupid in real life!

Eightiesfan · 06/02/2022 12:20

I can believe this, as something similar happened to me, we live on a crescent so everyone parks on one side of the road, there is plenty of space. We moved in on Friday and I went to work on Monday, when I arrived back I was getting a few bits out of my car when one of our neighbours who lives directly opposite us came running out of the house with a “welcome to the neighbourhood” message. I thought that’s nice of her until she followed it up with “by the way that’s my parking space”. She then went into detail about how she had to park her car way over there - her car was literally 2 spaces behind mine and could I use my driveway. My partners car was parked there so I said, maybe she should take her own advice and park in hers. She then twittered in about not being able to reverse out properly - it’s a crescent so can be quite difficult if you have a large car. She had obviously been waiting for me to arrive to make a point, as she could have moved her car while I was at work!

Should mention It’s a public road so not blocking her access or parking I her ‘space’
vesperlindor · 06/02/2022 12:26

My blood pressure was rising watching that! What an awful woman

flashpaper · 06/02/2022 12:27

Omg amazing! Some people have absolutely no self awareness at all. Can't wait for part 2!

IncompleteSenten · 06/02/2022 12:30

I think that's scripted.

Funny though.

crowsfeet57 · 06/02/2022 12:34

When we moved to our house, our first ever with a drive, the property had been empty for two years and the neighbours (one of whom had 11 cars and no drive) had got used to parking on and across our drive.

TWENTY SIX YEARS on we are still having problems with people parking across the drive!

HazelBite · 06/02/2022 12:34

I can believe its for real. Where we used to live I parked my car on the driveway and DH parked his work van outside the house across the end of our drive. He would be out all day working so van would only be there evenings early mornings.
We lived on a wide busyish road which lead to a local park and a school so parking was heavy often. Neighbours from over the road came over and asked if DH could park his van in another street as they didn;t like looking at it as they were eating their evening dinner in their dining room at the front.
I politely suggested they got net curtains to "soften" their view

Heytheredemons · 06/02/2022 12:46

If I've got this right is she saying as the previous owners let her use the driveway, the new owners have to honour that agreement indefinitely? The new owners need that amazing farmer with the tractor to hoick her car out of the way 🤣

Jaxhog · 06/02/2022 12:48

I can believe it too. Many years ago, I used to park my car outside on the road as we only had room for my DH car on our drive. One of my neighbors wrote me a stinkingly abusive note asking me to move my car so he could 'swing into his drive'!

Tiredforfive45 · 06/02/2022 12:50

I knew what this was before I clicked on it. I saw it this morning and it made me genuinely enraged 🤣

That feeling of arguing with somebody who just can’t see sense or reason!

anon12345678901 · 06/02/2022 12:55

That is ridiculous, what a stupid woman. I hope she sees herself going around social media with comments saying how ridiculous she is. Maybe she'll get a clue.

anon12345678901 · 06/02/2022 12:56

Oh and if I was the neighbours, I'd be putting in a parking bollard asap.

Coronado2 · 06/02/2022 12:57

How dare they not honour the verbal agreement she had with Bill and Jenny forever more. What terrible neighbours! 😂
