Shrek's Adventure London

Has anyone been?
Looking for something to tie in with London Eye tonmorrow, Sealife all booked up. So I booked Shrek but now I've read reviews I'm not so sure.
DD is 12 but would hate to have to join in with anything. She just likes us to do things ourselves, but not with a tour guide or interaction or anything (sensory issues etc) .
Is that what the whole experience is like?
Can anyone recommend anything else within a short distance of Marylebone, South Bank or China Town please?
Thank you Smile

The Shrek experience is entirely tour guide lead. It's based on a story where you (as a group) go round different rooms to rescue a key or something like that. My little kids (8&6) loved it but I'm not sure it sounds like your daughters kind of thing at all.

If I were you I'd just wander up the south bank with her looking at street performers etc. Choose a book from Foyles & get a hot chocolate by the river?
If you walk up to the footbridge you can cross the river & see ST Paul's & the fire of London monuments

Great, thank you. We have merlin passes so it's no problem to cancel Shrek.
We have wandered up South Bank before and stopped off at the cafe in the Royal Festival Hall and there was a fab jazz band playing on the foyer stage so would be fab if we could stumble across something like that again.
We are only there for the afternoon and evening and eating in China Town so not much time to kill anyway.
