MissC your Florida photos are beautiful. We are still a long way from Spring here, though they're selling potting soil and seeds in my local Walmart. I may plant some seeds indoors and then put them out when frost is finally past.
The queue for petrol was crazy in my local Costco today but the price there is much better than the wild prices closer to home. I bought a rotisserie chicken in Costco and made a chicken pot pie for dinner. There's enough leftover chicken to make something else chicken-based tomorrow.

My mum has spent the last 30 years waving away all attempts to teach her the rudiments of digital photography with her phone, texting, e-mail, and basic internet. So for her there is no WhatsApp which would enable her to chat for the cost of broadband with her US grandchildren (and me for that matter) and the resulting loss of the chance to forge relationships with them. We talk by phone. It could be a lot worse of course - she's completely compos mentis and fit as a fiddle at almost 90 - but it could also be a lot better.
