Madrid hotel with a baby

Anyone had any experiences in hotels with a baby, any that are particularly good. Baby will be 7-9 months old if we go. Reccomendations of things to do, places to eat or hotels to stay in, probably looking for 4 star hotel budget wise, need decent size room for a cot and pref a pool and a central location.

I would go for an apartment hotel. That way you can go out for lunch, then cook something nice in the even when the baby is in bed, relax, maybe somewhere with a terrace? Otherwise you’ll be stuck in the hotel room when they go to bed (or take the risk of sleeping/not sleeping in pushchair and waking them when you get back and transfer them to bed. Most of those apartments will also have a washing machine allowing you to travel a lot lighter!
