Which Nick Cave album should I listen to first?

Have only recently got into him and been streaming odd tracks on Spotify which I'm absolutely loving - which album do fans recommend?

I like The Boatman's Call.

The Boatman's Call was the first album I listened to, absolutely beautiful and still one of my favourites.

Tender Prey was my introduction to Nick Cave back in the 1990s. Deanna my favourite track.

The Boatman’s Call. Though it’s almost too painful to listen to now. The lyrics are wonderful.

The Boatmans Call is one of my favourite albums and has been for a long time. I haven't heard his most recent stuff though so that could be even better.

Kicking Against the Pricks. Early, raw and unrefined but is his interpretation of some classic songs/some obscure ones. The Spotify This is Nick Cave playlist is good, I often can't choose an album to listen to, it's really an embarrassment of riches.

Another recommendation for The Boatman's Call. I'm actually not too keen on a lot of his work prior to this, sometimes it's just too overwrought and frenzied.
