Hi try establishing a routine? To begin wake at 7am, feed, nap at 9am (they may go earlier). Feed at 10-11. To get a longer nap try doing it in buggy on walk at first. Then another sleep in afternoon, try for two hours! 30-40 mins is a nap anything over is proper more restorative sleep. Baby will probably need a short 30 min nap around 4.30 to take them through to bedtime at 7pm. Try to put baby down drowsy but awake and allow to settle themselves. Being wide awake during night can be a sign of over tiredness, babies this age need at least 3 hours sleep during day. If you can establish a good routine it will help you know if baby is hungry, tired or other as you can eliminate what you have done. I’m awake at 4.30 with a 6 month old probably because I can’t follow my own advice due to older children. I’d love to be in a routine it made my life so much easier with s content happy baby! Good luck. If you stick to the 7am wake ups and work from there it will fall into shape!
