Can anyone help me critique my new clock.(pics will be included)

Sorting out my life and sorting out my sitting room (rented,so have to be careful what I do )

I have bought a big clock to go over fireplace.
I "think" it works , but fire place is black .
Was unsure whether to go for black/silver clock instead .
Honest options are gratefully received.

(Lots of stuff still to be done with putting pictures on the walls , but this might be my start 🙏

It's a lovely clock and it .certainly goes with the sofa - yes, I think it will look lovely there

(actually ,,looking at it in real life ...yeahhh think they need a wash !..)

I can't honestly say I'd ever choose it personally, but it does match the decor so if you like it then go for it! Do what makes you happy 😊😊

I have been trying to do my room for a while now .
Looked at pin .. something...and they don't give me a feeling .
I love this clock as its name is "deckchair" clock!
I have a warm feeling about it .

But my worry was ...should I have brought the black fireplace in?
(But I hate the black fireplace !)

I only have DS (17) to give me an opinion at the moment ...and I did interupt his game 😫

But he was quiet when I held it up as opposed to WTF. ... and held it up for me to see from a distance .

I like it. And it goes with what you already have too.

It’s nice but it might look a bit lost on that wall. A larger picture might be nice. Still have the clock in the room but somewhere else?

It is only a chimney breast .
I was planning on having some framed photos around it .
