Government gateway?

TooManyPJs · 01/02/2022 19:29

The URN becomes his NINO.

Auntieobem · 01/02/2022 19:29

You can ask hmrc for it, takes a couple of weeks to come though.

sashagabadon · 01/02/2022 19:30

Urn is also ni number
Format is AB123456C

BuchananBabies · 01/02/2022 19:30

You can set him up a government gateway with his passport and it will show you his NI number

dementedpixie · 01/02/2022 19:30

You could also call to get it reissued in the post

Yankydoodledandy · 01/02/2022 19:32

Ahhh so on his child trust fund there is a code under Unique Reference Number and it is in the format of XY123456Z

So it this his National Insurance number then??? Really????

sashagabadon · 01/02/2022 19:33

Yes that is it

dementedpixie · 01/02/2022 19:35

Yes it is the NI number if its in the correct format. Both my kids unique reference numbers matched their NI number

purplecorkheart · 01/02/2022 19:39

Sorry based in Ireland so this may be a dumb question but would his school have it. I am assuming it is like our pps number which I think you need to enter state exams

Yankydoodledandy · 01/02/2022 19:44
