Living as I do in a household of clumsy idiots and small children, we only drink out of plastic. But all of my current tumblers are now leaking or knackered thanks to the dishwasher or the fact that they can cope with the occasional dropping, but not the amount of dropping the aforementioned clumsy idiots and small children inflict upon them.
In the past I have found decent tumblers fitting my requirements (at least a pint, dishwasher safe, sturdy and not flimsy like they're part of a picnic set) in Home Sense, but they are hit and miss as to whether they're in stock and very much a seasonal thing and we are in entirely the wrong season. I have scoured the internet but am struggling, so am setting you lot on the hunt.
To reiterate, I want:
- Holds at least a pint of liquid
- Sturdy with thick "walls" so it feels like you're holding a glass (and can take a pounding)
- Dishwasher safe
- Not more than about £3 per "glass"
I don't care about colour or design (within reason, don't really want to be drinking out of Spideman cups).
The following are examples of what I don't want:
It may be that I just need to bite the bullet and spend more, but I am hoping you lot can find me the perfect plastic "glasses".
Thank you in advance!
