Hello MN,
Does anyone have any tips they can give me on the following. I absolutely love taking photos of nature and my surroundings, and I find I’m actually not bad at it. However, despite my iPhone 11 having a pretty good camera (for a phone), it has its limitations. I.e., sunsets, they are just yellow splodges, and the zoom is not v zoomy, i.e., I would have loved to take a beautiful shot of some deer in a field, I could see them clearly and vice versa, but I was far enough for them not to run away but not close enough for an iPhone shot. I tried to take the photo using my binoculars, but it was lacking the three hands necessary to execute such a feat.
I now realise that to move my skills on a bit, I need to invest in a camera. I don’t want to spend an absolute fortune and also don’t want anything too complicated to use. I also would rather not buy an my iphone add ons, such as iPhone zoom lenses, etc. I’d just really like to learn how to use a proper camera! I have a creative side just bursting to get out but I can’t paint or draw, so photography might just scratch that itch!
Any advice very welcome.
