Is there such a thing as a good multi vitamin?

Or do they just give you expensive wee (as Sheldon Cooper put it!)

I sometimes take a multi-vit (usually Well Woman), sometimes I pick and choose individual ones depending on what I feel I need (I currently have a calcium, zinc, magnesium one, Feroglobin, Vit D, and Vit C).

Funnily enough I haven’t taken any in a while and my nails are the best they have ever been.

I’m early 40s, tired and a bit haggerd looking and my mum has osteoporosis. Is there anything (in one tablet or at least in a pack which says take these all together) out there that you would recommend?

I take prenatal vitamins, as they're pretty broad spectrum. They seem to do my hair and nails good!
