What indulgent treat would you buy with £75 from Amazon?

DVDs of programmes from ages ago that no one is realistically going to add to streaming services any time soon. Think Dickens/historical adaptations from the 80s etc.

It's just my thing. I love them.

AlbertBridge · 30/01/2022 23:25

A GHD hairdryer. I want the Aura but I think it's discontinued...

Refrosty · 30/01/2022 23:27

3 boxes of (x20) kimchi noodles
Or
Graphic novels (£75 will probably buy 4-6)

I am dreadful of thinking of things I want. I have been told I can choose £160 for 10 years service as a foster carer and I can't think of anything i want. My eldest son has not given me a Xmas gift just some flowers as I could not tell him anything I wanted but when I think of something I have promised to tell him. As you get older I find it harder to think of anything.

Assuming it's a voucher, I would use it for a food shop or something else essential, then use actually cash to go sale shopping elsewhere 🙂

HiJenny35 · 31/01/2022 01:19

An alexa. Biscuits. Hand cream.

BarbaraofSeville · 31/01/2022 03:52

I'd just wait until I found I wanted something and then buy it. Amazon doesn't run out for at least 10 years, if at all, and they're unlikely to go bust.

Or you could buy groceries, petfood or something else and use the money saved anywhere.

I've just bought some nice cosy loungewear, new boots and running shoes in the sales, because I don't think I'd bought any footwear at all since the start of the pandemic, but that was mainly because I couldn't find any boots I liked - I'd ordered about 10 pairs and returned them because they didn't fit or weren't right.

They last years. I'd just apply it to my account and then use up when I found something I needed.

I got this thing called rapid lash that you put on your eye lashes to make them grow thicker. Seems to be working. Also nice facial moisturiser. And a box of vegan chocolates.

StillWalking · 31/01/2022 07:16

A new hair dryer. I'm still using an ancient one that belonged to my mum who passed away 15 years ago (and it was getting on a bit then!).

cookiemonster2468 · 31/01/2022 07:20

If I had £75 to spend on a treat I would try not to give it to Amazon

Chikapu · 31/01/2022 07:21

I used my Amazon vouchers from Christmas to buy a HP sprocket, it prints pics directly from my phone and I use them for memory keeping. I also bought a Phomemo printer for fun.

Stormwhale · 31/01/2022 07:27

Some new over ear headphones as mine are too big on my head and slip off.
