Change in universal credit circumstances

Hi everyone! I need some advice to stop my overthinking, worried panicking brain until 8am rolls around and i can call them.

My partner and I were in a joint claim. We got our payment statement yesterday, which said it would be paid on the 5th.

Today, I reported change of circumstances as I am supposed to as we have moved out of the house and we are now living separately and taking a break and she needs to now do a sole claim (I work so my entitlement will become zero for the next assessment period).

The payments sections has now only info about my sole claim. It says my next payment will be now 5th March and there’s no evidence or anything of the payment we were supposed to get on Feb 5th (as UC is paid in arrears).

I’m panicking and don’t understand.
Will we now not get that last payment?! It was needed as we owed the money for the first months rent and was supposed to techincally get that in this UC payment.

Any help would be highly appreciated as I’m currently sat on my floor worrying my brain away.

What date did you report the change as from?

I was in a similar situation (as in change of circumstances). Asked on a FB group and that made me paranoid. Called UC and they told me I had nothing to worry about!

Ok you don’t need to worry. You won’t be able to see the old claim now it disappears due to the separation but you will still get payed into account as normal. You can both only see the respective new claims.
