Easy listening books - fantasy?

I've had a series of bad health issues and I just want to be able to lie and listen to a good fantasy series on audible. Nothing nobel prize winning - just light entertaining.

I've listened to all of Harry Potter, all of Lord of the Rings, the Sookie Stackhouse True Blood series.

What else might I like?

The Dresden files wrote by Jim Butcher's narrated by James Marsters.

Harry Dresden is a wizard that works alongside the police solving strange goings on.
This is nothing like Harry Potter whatsoever but the dry wit and sarcasm that runs throughout the whole series of something like 17 is great .the books are very good the easy to follow.

That’s just made me remember Alan Dean Foster’s Spellsinger series, going way back!

I was reading Katharine Kerr stuff at the same time, which you might like if you’re into history op.

You can speed up your audible listening a little by upping the playback speed, although don't go too high or it sounds like its being read by the chipmunks!

I can't believe no one has suggested Howl's moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones.
I absolutely loved it

Another vote for Jodi Taylor's Chronicles of St Mary's. I'm on book 4 on audible and hooked. There are a few free shirt stories the compliment the series free with your membership too.

Is audible the only way to get audio books? I'm not sure I can face paying another subscription!

Try your local library. Ours uses the Libby App and you can borrow them via there.
