Checking internet search history

[footballfan1963]

Is it possible to check someone’s internet search history not from their device? Maybe from the router? This is for a teen not a partner BTW!

I think if you've got access to the router (network code and password) then you can check all the history for whoever uses it.

I think BT said you can put the router IP address into a web browser. Can you see it from there?

I don't think it's that easy. Not sure most of the modern routers supplied by companies will do a whole lot like that. Might be able to get a log of IP addresses of sites visited, but would then would need to work out what those sites actually were. Don't think will give you a nice easy to read list like their device history would.
