Sending off a job application -- they've requested email only .
I'm a bit flummoxed as they've provided an application form which I've completed, they've asked for a personal statement about why they should hire me, criminal convictions stuff etc.
I've attached all that as pdf documents but they're also asking for a covering email - what do I write in that? A summary of my application and personal statement?
Previous job was NHS and through block booking so more interview and skills based, this is a different role/sector.
They've also asked for password encryption of documents which I cannot get to work, no matter what I do - I'm using my university's copy of office so everything wants to share to 'Sharepoint/one drive' and I cant seem to figure out how the hell you password protect a PDF - each time I mail it to myself to check its not asking for a password ...
I'm desperate for this job, its something I could do well, but am lost at these last two bits ! Please help !
