I have been a SE cleaner for a decade. A few months ago an injury I’ve had on and off for a while became a lot worse and won’t be improving so I’ve hung up my duster for good. I can’t physically do the work. I’ve been looking for employed work since then with little success.
I still have all my client contacts, I still have new people contacting me to clean for them, as well as former clients being gutted that I stopped. Lots of requests on SM for a cleaning service.
I’ve been considering opening up again with staff to do the cleaning work. I’ve never been an employer before though so would appreciate if anyone would be willing to share any information or guidance into what I need to do/consider.
