My daughter has a skateboard but I think she could do with a slightly smaller one. Her current one can go to her big brother if she’s feeling kind or she may turn it into a bedroom shelf!

Hers is a 7.5. She can do a few bits on it but wants to try a few more tricks etc. She spends hours on it in the garden. I am thinking with her teeny size 9 (child) feet a smaller one may be better.

She is small, about 1.05 cm. I’m not sure whether to get a 7.25 ish or a 6.5.

Also what brand is good for teeny skateboards? Happy to spend £50/60 or maybe more if needed.

It's a long time since I last skated so not sure how much help I can be.

Do you have a local skate shop where she could go and stand on different sized boards to see what suits? Sometimes the shops have ready made up boards you can buy, otherwise you might be better off keeping her current trucks and wheels and just getting a new deck only. Generally the shop will do the set up of a new full skateboard if you buy all the necessary gear in the shop.

Not up to date on good makes I'm afraid. In my day (80's/90's) there was only really ever one size aavailabl for decks. I don't know if trucks now come in different sizes to match the smaller boards.
