Having a smear test under general anaesthetic

I’ve put of having smear tests all my life I’m now 28 mainly due to lots of reasons I cant even were tampons at the moment either. I’m due to have another laparoscopy for some endometriosis again, If I ask do you think they will do it while I’m under. I’m in such a panic constantly over not having one when ever a smear test is mentioned I go quite and clammy. If they don’t Allow it are there any other options of having it done.

I was told that this would be possible when I was under for another gynae intervention. You would need to ask at the time when you are signing consent in an appointment prior to the op so it can be added to the consent.
