Boring! Please help me choose an email format

I need to start over with my emails.

Splitting up from husband of several years, still have his surname, but will change it in future when I have time and finances all resolved. No rush for that. But the thing is I need to decide on email now as changing internet.

I'm not sure if I will go back to my original surname, use a name from my mother/grandmothers, invent a new one or what really. My DC are teenagers and it's nice that we currently match.

So what would you do for an email address... First name and some numbers? Something more creative? First and middle name? I have complete decision fatigue.

I have a really common name so I have to have numbers. I'm firstname.lastname123@emailprovider. I'd always have a simple email address as if you want to use it for something serious such as a job application, a simple address looks best.

In your shoes I'd just use my current one for changing the Internet, as it will still be in use for a while yet to make sure you don't miss any emails and wait until I'd decided on surname to start up a new address, so you can have first name surname and numbers if needed
