Anyone had a spider angioma removed?

Ds has a prominent spider angioma on his face. He's 9, it's been there since early 2019 and is getting bigger as he grows. Been through the GP/local hospital dermatology dept to get it diagnosed but they can't treat it on the NHS. Local private hospital won't treat due to his age.
Has anyone had this treated successfully for their dc? I will only let an actual doctor treat him.

Not but following as I’m in exactly the same position. DS2 is 11 and has one on his face, sort of high up on his cheek bone near his eye. He hates it and everyone comments on it.

My DS has one very close to his eye and senior NHS dermatology consultant did not want to touch it because of where it is. It's not gotten any bigger though.

Ds is on his cheekbone also but not too close to his eye. Seems to be the common place.
