Biscuits - one for the long term lurkers!

Is it still acceptable to hand out a biscuit if I believe someone is trolling/goading on a thread? There was a time when you could hand out a biscuit to let your feelings be known but no more? Do I always have to use words now?

I have no clue, I've never used it myself. But I'm sure I still see them occasionally.
