Buying flowers online

I’m looking for recommendations on the place place to purchase flowers online. I went to send some to a colleague that lives away from me.

I usually use M&S or next but both don’t seem to last very long

Another vote for Freddies Flowers. I've got one bunch know that have lasted for ten days, even two of the three tulips are going strong. £25 a bunch, but they regularly last nearly two weeks.

Without fail, when I get them I'm a bit underwhelmed, but by the next day, they always come into their own.

The instructions on how to arrange them are fantastic too.

I always google a florist local to the recipient, check reviews and either call them, or book online if its an option. I personally avoid the large companies like interflora/bloom & wild etc. I prefer to support local and have always found the resulting flowers to be fresher, larger and cheaper than the larger companies.

I've done this for friends and family in the UK, along with much farther afield like Singapore and Australia.

I've had quite a few sent to me from Bloom and wild and they were always lovely. Lasted ages too.

I've used Flying flowers several times and they have been great and customer service was also good when flowers were delayed (they immediately sent out another bunch). A few months ago ordered flowers from a local florist and they certainly weren't as good.
