I've been reading a series now for ages - book 12 has just been released and I'm so disappointed with it - two of the main characters are hardly in it, there's a rape scene that while not graphic, is never really dealt with, the main character spends pages basically whining (not related to the rape) and so much of the action is so frantic, it's difficult to understand what's going on. Book 11 was very much the same and I'm gutted because I'd hoped it was a one off and the series would go back to being good.
It's the Cassie Palmer series by Karen Chance, if anyone else reads it.
