DS usually wears Asda ones, but is complaining how thin and cold they are. Are there any that are thick and warm?

Thermal leggings underneath? What colour trousers does he need?

Mountain Warehouse sell plain black trousers that are thermal fleece lined for hiking. They are very lightweight, but beautifully cosy. I have worn them up Scottish hills in January, and for shovelling snow after blizzards, and not felt cold at all!

Wear a pair of sports skins underneath.
Basically, like putting a pair of footless tights on, but but my 2 will accept skins and reject leggings or tights. Hmm

Use what you have now with Aldi ski thermals underneath.

Thanks everyone.
I did suggest skins to him, but he wasn’t keen.

The mountain warehouse trousers sound good, but he has to wear dark grey school style trousers, they’re v strict about uniform.
