Would this put you off recruiting me

Hi all,

I worked for a company for 2 years. This is a huge company just for info. 1000s of staff. I also did my training at this company while doing a degree which was 4 years long, ì went straight from training into a job but it was in an entirely different department. That wasn't through choice on my part, i did ask for a position in my training department but needs of the business meant I was placed elsewhere. It was fine.

So after 2 years I got fed up with a few things at job 1 so applied internally for a job that was 1 promotion point up from my current role. Amazing I got the job (job 2). I have now done this role for a year. Even though it was advertised as 1 point higher I have actually been doing much more senior level work and projects because my amazing manager has upskilled me and says she sees herself in me and sees my potential etc...

The work in current role (job 2) is ok but some parts of it I hate and can't see myself doing long term. I much prefer the extra senior level work.
I have seen a job (job 3) 2 promotion points up and I believe I can go for this based on my experience. I have most (but not all) of the requirements. The ones I don't have i can't quickly learn , like I did with my current role. This new job is also an internal move. Its 10k a year more than my current salary and its at senior level.

I'm put off applying because that will be 3 moves in 3 years and I don't want to seem flakey or unreliable. I also really appreciate my current boss and don't want to let her down. Part of me reconciles that these are internal moves and for career progression so its fine.

Would it put you off employing me. Would all the moves make me look unreliable.
Should I go for this role and think of myself.
Just to add the new role (the one I'm thinking of applying for, job 3) is directly in my area of expertise. The other 2 do use my expertise but as a transferable skill not directly.

Thanks

As it's internal that wouldn't put me off. If you had move companies 3 times i would be worried about that.

No it wouldn't put me off. Each move has been a step up if you had made 3 sideways moves then I think that would be different

No it wouldn’t put me off - I think it’s a good sign if someone has been promoted internally.
