Returning to Grey’s Anatomy, where to start

I was a huge Grey’s fan. Stopped watching it around season 5 because I didn’t have sky and could never find anywhere else.

I want to start watching it again and most of it is free on prime now. Should I restart from the beginning (that feels like a huge mission), start with the last season thats on prime or what?

I am aware of some of what I missed thanks to online spoilers

Start from the beginning I'd say, those were the best ones! I still watch as I feel like I need to see it through after this many years but it's really gone downhill in my opinion

Yes, the beginning! I love greys, and I've rewatched from the start a few times whilst waiting for the next season. I always forget how much i loved the original characters.

I'd start where you finished before. no point watching stuff again you have seen!

Go back one season and carry on from there.

Go back to season one. All episodes after season 12, ignore.

I've only just started watching Grey's (I know, I know. I'm only on season 2 but it's fantastic. I have seen there are 16 seasons on Prime, and Incan only imagine it jumps the shark pretty hard sometime in the near future (although having just seen the episode where Meredith is holding a bomb.in a guy's chest, maybe we're there already?!?)
Anyway I'm enjoying it immensely - so don't deny yourself!

Oh and watch private practice alongside season 4 onwards. I love Addison!

I love greys watching from season one would be better. Think of it as a catch up. I'm watching private practice on there at the minute. The greys spin off.

I've just started it for the first time. I'm on episode three!

Love greys the first ten seasons are the best. It goes down hill from there 😞

I am only half way through the second season but it's really good

I got to about where you were then couldn't get it anymore. I decided to rewatch from the start when it came on disney plus. The first few seasons I could have on as background when doing other things and then watched properly from where I left off. I had a bit of a break and now just finishing season 10.

And prime I'm upto s5 not as good as greys though.

Definitely start from the beginning then don't bother wasting your time after season 12. It's turned into absolute shite and the writers can't seem to recognise it's run it's course.

The first few seasons are great though x
