He loves water so we bought him a big swimming ring and was thinking of taking him swimming tonight.Grin

Of course. Try to find a warm mush pool though, as they lose body heat faster than adults. And don’t forget swim nappies. Have fun!

I'd advise some sort of insulated body warmer. Just jeep an eye on his temperature.

Mine started waterbabies at 8 weeks. They all loved it.

Mine were just shy of 4mths. I found half an hour was enough for them.

Of course it is. You can get neoprene baby suits to keep them warm. Most pools will want you to double-nappy in case of a poo leak, so disposable swim nappy underneath a Happy Nappy type cover.

Of course! Another recommendation for a neoprene baby wetsuit. Wouldn’t bother with the ring. Just hold them.

Forfamily123 · 25/01/2022 13:11

It’s fine as soon as their tummy buttons are healed. I don’t like those ring, often babies just preferred to be held.

Fleur405 · 25/01/2022 13:13

Absolutely. As long as water isn’t too cold he will love it!

DappledThings · 25/01/2022 14:14

Yep, we started at 10 weeks. 6 months is totally fine
