Do you lie or sit on your heated throw?

Trying to keep warm this morning - I have a heated throw around me but wondered if I should avoid sitting on it. It's difficult to handle otherwise. The label says, "Do not tuck in or use folded" - is it just that you shouldn't have two parts of the heated blanket next to each other?

I fold it over me so I’m sat on one part getting heated both ways. Like a sleeping bag I suppose.

I wrap it over my legs and body and lightly tuck it in but don't sit on it. If I'm on the sofa this attracts my cat who sits on my legs/lap and it gets super hot with her onboard, so there is probably a risk of it overheating. I always have it on max though.

Thanks, everyone. I've realised that if I have it draped over me I don't need the heating on, so should save myself some money!

I sit on the sofa/my work chair and drape it over me - I too have done away with heating during the day when WFH Grin
