You will be 57 (gulp)

The day is your own.

What will you do?

Have a wee long lie, maybe just an extra half hour. Light breakfast at home. Head into nearest city instead of usual town. Get hair and/or nails done. Spend an hour browsing a book shop. Go for lunch to one of my favourite places. Head to craft shop to browse & purchase some bits for my hobby. Maybe fit in a movie if cinema times suit and there's a film I fancy. Then home for takeaway, possibly from more than one place to get exactly what I want. Plus couple of large G&Ts.

My response would be pretty much what @chesterelly1 said. Grin

Except I'd swap hair/nails for a massage.

I'm 50 on Fri. I'm going to have a lovely long wander round a National Trust property ( dh in tow) and my favourite tea, birthday cake and a couple of bottles of beer. Simple things but things I enjoy.

Go for a nice long walk in the countryside somewhere. After a lie in obviously

@contactornotthatisthequestion Are you aware that that word is an ethnic slur? Please don’t use it.

Breakfast at my favourite cafe followed by a wander round a rhs garden. Then tea and cake in the cafe and a nose round the gift shop. Takeaway for tea and then birthday cake. Hope you have a wonderful birthday whatever you decide to do Smile

Sleep in, brunch with friends, long walk somewhere beautiful, sauna and a float. Home for a delicious meal with DH because these days I'm too tired to enjoy late meals and getting home late!

Long walk on the beach with the dogs, followed by a nice meal at home with family.
