Hello,
My DC is not officially diagnosed yet but I am looking for an inclusive nursery that can support him. Any recommendations please?
Thank you.

Try a Sure Start Nursery or council run one if there is one in your area. Mine worked out my youngest was autistic before I did, they were very clued up on it and had a senco.

Thanks for your advise. Did your nursery apply for EHCP and if so, how old was your little one? I am just asking because my DC's nursery wants to postpone it until just before he starts reception.

I applied myself, Nursery were applying for top up funding for 1st year of primary school. I decided to apply for the EHC myself because it's much harder to get them once in Primary school. I'm glad I did, it took until year 6 and 3 tribunals to get his brother an EHC!

Thank you soooo much for this info. Did you apply for EHC needs assessment yourself as well? I read it is better to do it yourself and ask nursery to write a letter which supports your application.
I am so sorry to hear about his brother, what year did you start the process?

My DC is 3 and non verbal. He would greatly benefit from a nursery with special language provision.
